Square Enix joins the MOBA club

Square Enix, the creators of Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider, Thief and other successful games have announced that they will make their own MOBA, named Lord of Vermillion Arena.

As some of us probably don’t know, Lord of Vermilion is a very popular series that is only unknown on the west side of the globe. It is originally an “arcade-based fantasy collectible card game” that is played in two players, but the MOBA version of the game will feature a 7v7 battle between monsters belonging to 5 different groups.

The game has been announced to be released in 2015, but those who are unpatient to try it can sign up for an alpha test that will run from October 17 to 19, that comes with a twist: you have to be able to read Japanese. You can sign up for the alpha here.

Hello there. I've been a gamer for as long as i can remember and I'll keep on playing. I am studying at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology from UPB, but in the meanwhile I will keep playing video games, especially RPGs. My other passions are computer hardware and playing guitar.
