PGL announces the $110,000 CS:GO Championship Series Kick-off season.
The CCS Kick-off Season will feature eight top teams from around the world and will ultimately see the best four fight for the Championship title during the LAN finals, which will be hosted at DreamHack Bucharest 2015 (April 24 – 26).
Six teams will be offered a direct invite, with two additional slots being reserved for the qualifiers. The Kick-off Season will be structured around two groups of four teams each, with the top team from each group advancing straight to the Grand Finals.
Teams in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place will then get their shot at redemption in the Last Chance Tournament, where they will fight for the last two slots at DreamHack Bucharest 2015.
The Kick-off Season qualifiers are scheduled towards the end of February, with more details about the format and registration to be made available soon. The league matches themselves will start on March 6.

Also, 10,000 USD will be used as travel support for the teams qualified in the Grand Finals (2,500 USD / team).
